One shared direction.
Grand Continental is drawn over land by coordinated teams of huskies and malamutes. A rotating roster of 4,800 dogs supports the voyage, with 1,200 scheduled on duty at a time.
Specialist handlers oversee every movement. The ship travels at the team’s working pace, with regular pauses for meals, rest, grooming, and anything else the team requires.
While the lower hull makes its way through the earth corridor, the propulsion lines carry the load forward. There are no wheels or railway tracks beneath the ship.
A dedicated veterinary team
Veterinary specialists and canine care staff travel with the operation throughout the entire voyage.

Rotating teams and scheduled rest periods shape our progress. Arrival times always accommodate the team.

Go behind the harness.
Meet an off-duty team, tour the canine care facilities, and spend time with the people who know every dog by name. A 90-minute visit, with plenty of time for introductions.
